Welcome to The Sid Series Art Showcase for Children!
Write a story, create artwork, or make an audio recording that demonstrates a lesson you have learned by reading
The Sid Series ~ A Collection of Holistic Stories for Children.
This unique collection of short stories is rooted in imagination and truth to
expand our awareness and tell us something about our spiritual selves. The 12 stories deal
with topics that children and many adults have a difficult time understanding and believing.
The art showcase is NOT a contest!
Children will not be judged or rejected for their heart-felt
creativity. Instead, every story, artwork, and audio will be recognized and everyone's
talent will be included in a community e-book that can be shared with family
and friends. Each participant will get a free copy of the e-book comprised of the art and stories created by
participating children. See art showcase guidelines.

I began writing The Sid Series as I
spent time with my grandson when he was very small. It was mainly for me to remember some of the cute things he said, but he was also manifesting
a strong spiritual intellect. I
soon found myself learning some profound spiritual lessons from this little boy who called himself an “old soul.”
I wanted to do everything I could to help Sid develop his spiritual
gifts, which were similar to the mystical gifts that I had been endowed
with. Unfortunately, my gifts had been unappreciated by religious
communities with which I had been involved.
Sid’s spiritually-enlightened mother has been a very grand
influence on my spiritual path and together we have taught Sidney how to use his gifts as a tool to
fulfill his life's mission and help others. I realize that most psychically-gifted children do not have this type of adult influence. In fact, many adults are afraid of the supernatural. The
main reason I decided to publish The Sid Series was to
help adults accept and nurture these precious Crystal Children. This
collection of stories is my gift to the kids and parents of this special generation.
When most kids are at the peak of displaying their spiritual experiences, they
are too young to read. Even though I used a lot of illustrations in The Sid
Series, I wrote the text on a level that would require an adult to read the
stories to their toddlers. The message will stir interest and help guide the
adult, and the stories and illustrations will entertain the children.
Be sure to include your child's name, age, and the story he or she chose
to showcase.
Children may share a story by drawing, painting, sketching, writing,
reading, singing, or
speaking about how they learned or experienced a Sid lesson from the list below.
We encourage you to select from the list of stories below; however,
if your child comes up with a life lesson that's not on our list, please allow the child to
talk about their experience and submit their original story/art.
Parents are asked to assist the child with typing, scanning, and
digitally uploading their child’s story or artwork. You may also
need to help your child use the recording line (214) 615-6505 ext
1210 to create an MP3 when speaking about or reading from The Sid Series.
This is a great way to learn what’s on your child’s mind and offer supportive answers for their earnest questions.
There are 12 Stories in The Sid Series to read, write,
speak about or
illustrate. The stories are available as e-books for $3.00 each. Or get
